I was going through some old stuff on Facebook and came across this song (more or less a poem right now) that I posted as a note in January ’09. I don’t remember if I had music for it or not, but thought I would share it here. I’ll hope to rewrite it with music to jumpstart me back into writing music.
I lift my praise to the Author of my faith
I fall in awe at the splendor of His grace
Knowing that He will never fail me
Gives me the faith to proclaim His Holy NameI lift my eyes to The One who made the hills
Where my hope lies and my dreams will be fulfilled
How awesome is Your power and glory
More awesome is the fact that You love meSo I will worship
With all that I am
I give you my life
Sacrificing my plan
You lift me up
So I can praise You more
