My ideal vacation is one where I don’t have to worry about reservations and being on time to see the sites.  It’s about relaxing and hanging out with my family.  We got to do that last year in Michigan as I was leading worship for a week long summer camp.  This year it’s the staycation that so many others have done in light of the economic state of our country.  It doesn’t have anything to do with economics for us though.  We just felt it best to stay around home this year.  Some of that has to do with the fact that we just moved into our house, but I think it more has to do with not wanting to spend 2 days traveling to where ever else we might have gone.  There is plenty to do around Pittsburgh, so we are staying here this year.

I don’t plan to do much writing this week, so don’t be surprised if this is the last post you see until sometime next week.  I just had some time to kill while printing some coupons right now.  If you’ve done a staycation recently, I’d love to hear some of the things that you did.  So far we have plans for the zoo, Chuck E. Cheese, Carnegie Science Center, maybe a museum, the movies, and just chillin’ out max and relaxin’ all cool.
