Father,
You are holy and great above all nations. May Your Kingdom reign forever. Thank you for giving me the privilege to love in a country where I can freely worship You. Thank you for giving me steady work so that I can provide for my family. Thank you for the freedom You’ve given this country. Help us to remember that we are not only “free to do,” but also “free from” so many things. Please guide us and keep us in Your will. Although I sometimes wonder where we are headed as a nation, I know that You have the ultimate plan. Bless and guide the leaders of this nation. Give them wisdom in decisions and strengthen them in their homes as well as their political offices. Help us as a nation to turn to You and fix our eyes on You. Help us to spread Your Word and love to the lost of our nation as well as around the world. Let us be a light in the darkness, reflecting You, and bring peace to our nation and through our nation. All glory, honor, and power be to You.
