I don’t know what it is about leading worship that brings me so much joy. Is it the intimate connection with God that I feel when singing His praises? Is it knowing that the people I lead are focused on their creator through the songs that I lead them through? Is it the fact that I love to play music, period? Maybe it’s just that I have a sense of how God is using me in those moments more than others because I am more in tune with Him. Or maybe I’m just sensing The Holy Spirit within me in those moments.
Whatever it is, I’m glad that I can carry that joy with me even after I’ve moved on to the daily grind of my day.
