#TechTuesday is here and I thought I’d share the newest app to my iPhone (BTW – It’s FREE!). SMS (text) messages used to be so boring, but with Emoji ♨★♡♫ by iToyToy your SMS messages can have flair. With the Emoji language, you can send SMS messages with colorful emoticons. These emoticons can seen on any Android device that has the Emoji language installed, or any iPhone regardless of having the language installed. Once it’s installed, it’s as simple as adding an international keyboard in your general settings on the iPhone.
You need to reboot for Emoji keyboard show up.
I will admit that I was skeptical of Emoji at first. What use do I, a mature adult, have for silly little emoticons in my SMS messages? It seems kind of stupid and pointlessly immature. I went ahead and downloaded it though and now my wife has done the same. It’s become a fun little additive to our SMS messages back and forth.
As you can see from the iTunes screenshot, there is a lot you can do with Emoji. I personally still think it’s dumb, but that hasn’t stopped me from using them. Maybe I’m still just a high school kid at heart. On that note, check out iToyToy.com. Something always gets lost in translation. I especially like the “Ostrich want to learn to fly” game.
