changed

If you are new to reading this blog, thank you for coming. I hope that you will find encouragement in the pages here. If you are a regular, you are in the right place. Welcome to the new look.

I don’t claim to understand the greek language any more than I understand french, latin or mandarin, but there is something about the real meaning of greek words that have been translated into the english Bibles that we read today. For example, Ephesians 5:18 is translated as “…be filled with the Spirit…” (NIV), but the more literal translation from greek is “be being filled.”

If you’ve been a regular reader of this blog, you know that I have been constantly changing. I may have the same job that I had eleven years ago, but I am not the same person. Everyone knows the cliché that the only constant is change, and it sounds good to say that you will never stop learning or growing. I believe that it is important to always be being grown in the Spirit and be being filled with knowledge and wisdom.

I have not changed compared to eleven years ago. I am in the ongoing process of being changed. I am being filled with the fullness of The Spirit.
