How long must I lie awake
And ponder what I cannot shake
In turmoil, I mourn for those who are lost
Like sheep without a shepherd

A precipice has risen
Such that men who are driven by mortal goals
Have taken the Name of the Lord in vain
With no regard for fragile souls

My own pride has been sanctified
And still is being exorcized
From humility, I make my cries
For Yahweh to reorganize what’s broken to brand new

With lies they bind their followers
To false gospels that they’ve borrowed
Fake prophecies for prosperity
Have put them at odds with Yeshua

May God have mercy
Sanctify the apostate church and magnify
The Name above all names
Let every tongue proclaim

The Lord abounds in love divine
Slow to anger but I can’t deny
That when His children are led astray
There’s a heavy price to pay

So repent, you sinner, don’t hesitate
Turn back, don’t be a reprobate
Jesus Christ has paid the price
For you to have a redeemed life

Don’t take it for granted
That you’ve been handed a gift beyond what’s measured
You don’t need gimmicks, just know your limits
And let the Gospel speak for you
